Wendy Williams Tearfully Apologizes after Defending Nelly & Laughing at Rape Accuser

If you aren’t aware, over the weekend music lovers and fans of rapper and actor Nelly were in for a major shock when it was revealed that the multiplatinum selling artist was arrested for second degree rape.

The alleged rape took place early Saturday morning around 3:45 AM and the woman is claiming that she was raped on the rapper’s tour bus, as he is currently joint headlining with Country duo Florida Georgia Line.

Wendy addressed the allegations during her show and defended Nelly while laughing and slamming the unnamed 21-year-old accuser in the process:

“All I’m saying is, she’s saying he didn’t use. She’s also claiming he kicked her off the tour bus, afterwards, and threw $100 at her. If she hadn’t put herself in this situation this would not have happened, allegedly.

Well, the problem is … that you can’t party the way you read about Nelly. You didn’t grow up in the rolling stone times. Nelly is a rapper from the ’90s and into the 2000s, but still that’s relatively close to what we’re living in right now regarding internet, cell phones, litigious behavior on the part of people who don’t deserve it. Young lady, you’ve got to stay out of tour busses.”

Twitter users then called her out:

Wendy has since had a change of heart and tearfully issued an apology earlier today:
