Just weeks after collaborating with good friend Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd has returned solo with his new music video Secrets. Directed by Pedro Martin Calero, the visual is very trippy and can serve as a dream as it features The Weeknd’s leading lady floating in the air, and running upside down.

The Weeknd seems to play a ghost as he wanders through the structure’s mirrored halls and giant burgundy and white rooms, seemingly stalking the leading lady:

The video kind of reminds me of a more colorful version of Kanye West‘s Paranoid video starring Rihanna, due to the semi creepy in your face scenes.

Secrets samples Pale Shelter, a song by the band Tears for Fears as well as Talking in Your Sleep by The Romantics. It was written by The Weeknd alongside Doc McKinney, Walter Wiggins, Roland Orzabal, Coz Canler, Jimmy Marinos, Wally Palamarchuk, Mike Skill and Peter Solley.
