WATCH: Pretty Ricky Reunite + Talk New Album, Sex Tapes, ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ & More

And just like that, I’m back in high school! The year was 2004 and Pretty Ricky made waves with their debut single, Grind With Me (Grind on Me) and they instantly filled the void of black male groups that B2K left off with it.

After releasing their second single, Your Body and their debut studio album, Bluestars (I still have it today), the group proved that they were here to stay, so we thought.

Shortly after the release of their second album, the group’s primary singer, Pleasure P departed after being kicked out, where he launched a successful solo career. Though they replaced him with up-and-coming singer 4Play, the group wasn’t the same and they never released their third album, Eighties Babies.

After another lineup change and taking some time off, the group has reunited with all 4 original members. The group officially announced their return on The Breakfast Club this morning where they talk about their new album, which will be produced by Rico Love, why they felt the need to reunite, and address rumors of appearing on Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
