WATCH: Mario Returns with New Music Video ‘Let Me Help You’

R&B singer Mario has returned with a new music video, and I for one am definitely happy about it. Titled Let Me Help You, the song is expected to appear on his upcoming fifth studio album Paradise Cove, scheduled to be released later in the year.

Directed by Mario and Meg Gamez, the video was shot on the beach in Malibu where Mario catches the eye of a beautiful young lady who’s revealed to be in a bad relationship. With scenes of Mario and his background dancers giving smooth choreography, he’s shown thinking of her while he’s home before finally running into her at a night club.

Mario has always been an underrated singer to me, as he never officially earned the same success as Chris Brown, Omarion and Trey Songz.

While they’re all around the same age, Mario was the first to emerge on the scene as a teenager in 2002. He did find early chart success with hits like Let Me Love You and Crying Out for Me, but his albums never actually reached their full sales potential.

After an almost 10 year hiatus, the video is the perfect visual to show that the now 30-year-old singer can still keep up with his counterparts, and probably do better. Take a look at the music video below:
