#Throwback: What Happened to Kenya Moore’s Show Pilot, ‘Life Twirls On?’

Back in 2014, Real Housewives of Atlanta star and former beauty queen Kenya Moore debuted the pilot for a new show she produced and was pitching to be a star in, Life Twirls On. Well, it’s been a few years and we haven’t heard any additional news about the future of the show other than the fact it’s on her YouTube channel. While she’s produced some films herself with her own production company and been in a show or film herself literally every year since winning Miss USA 1993, she’s never had a leading role.

This pilot turning into a show would have been a perfect opportunity for a career revamp although the RHOA Executive Producer Andy Cohen disagreed with how she went about it. He felt paying for a pilot yourself isn’t that great of an idea and a huge risk. You never know. Clearly she has to be serious about her career to go to such lengths. Bravo did a piece asking what happened to the show a year later to which she said even if the show didn’t see the light of day, at least she gave some people opportunities.

Hey, at the end of the day, Life Twirls On is still a working credit on a show that’s aired somewhere… even if it’s only YouTube. Mind you my boyfriend watched the show and said it was painful. (I found it funny.) Kenya’s the most charismatic, adventurous and in shape cast member on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. It seems to only be fitting that people would want to see more of her. If not through a scripted show, maybe Bravo will give her her own spin off of her married life. (I kind of like that idea better.)
