Taylor Swift to Release New Album ‘Reputation’ in November + New Single Coming This Week
The wait is almost over! After sharing a few snake related posts, Taylor Swift has announced the title, release date and cover art for her long-awaited new studio album!
Set to be released on November 10, Reputation will serve as Taylor’s sixth studio album and her first album in nearly three years, following 2014’s 1989. While the album won’t be released for a few months, Taylor has announced that the lead single will be released on Thursday, August 24:
The news comes nearly one week after Taylor deleted ALL of her posts and photos on her Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. Earlier this week she released two snake videos and shared the finale one today:

Taylor took an extended hiatus after Kim Kardashian released audio of Swift’s phone calls with Kanye West last July. The incident, which showed Swift being amenable towards West’s lyric about her in his song Famous. Because of this, the media and some fans began to call her a snake, which is exactly why she decided to use it as the promo for the new album.
Released on October 27, 2014, 1989 debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with sales of 1.287 million copies during its first week. 1989 eventually became the best-selling album of 2014 in the US market and has sold over 6 million as of January 2017, while selling 9.5 million worldwide.
1989 won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, making Swift the first female credited main artist to win the top prize at the ceremony twice with her own works, having previously won in 2010 for Fearless.
