Taylor Swift Makes Her Music Available to Stream at the Same Time Katy Perry’s New Album Was Released

Last month, Katy Perry released her Nicki Minaj assisted single Swish Swish, which has been dubbed as a diss track towards Taylor Swift thanks to lyrics such as:

“Swish, swish, bish /Another one in the basket /Can’t touch this /Another one in the casket /Your game is tired /You should retire /You’re ‘bout as cute as /An old coupon expired”

It looks like Taylor is getting the last laugh out of this however. The superstar singer decided to put her entire catalog of songs on Spotify and other streaming services Thursday night. THE PROBLEM? Well. Taylor made it available at the same time that Katy Perry‘s new album Witness was released on all streaming platforms as well.

Yes people of the World of Pop Music, Taylor Swift just threw the ultimate shade and made the pettiest move of all, and I am LIVING for all of it.

While I do like Katy Perry, I have been VERY upset and HIGHLY disappointed with her this era due to her usage of cultural appropriation. What REALLY made me take a step back from her was how she treated the drag queens during her performance on SNL with Migos, who refused to perform with them.

As an advocate and ally of the LGBTQ community, that was her time to stand up for us and the amazing drag performers she chose for the show and instead she said nothing.

We’ll see how this Witness era goes.
