Tamar Braxton and Toya Wright were once great friends but all of that changed almost a year ago. Things between the two women officially clashed a few weeks ago when Tamar apologized to her friend Tiny Harris but dissed Toya in the process:

“Against public perceptions we know it’s NOT because of that show or lies that paperback Toya has said or anyone else who has had something to say about the disagreement you and I have had… because it’s simply OUR personal disagreement.”

Toya instantly responded to Tamar as did her daughter Reginae, who really needs to learn to stay in a child’s place and stop getting into the affairs of her mom and dad.

In an interview with The Big Tigger Show on V-103 in Atlanta, Tamar addressed her issues with Toya and also detailed how their problems began:

“It wasn’t about the show. And it wasn’t about the things that Toya was saying. She’s been going on media tours and wrote a book about how she felt I was a horrible friend. That was hurtful to me because that was the first time I’ve seen it. It was on a radio station. I didn’t know that we weren’t friends.”

In her book, Toya states that Tamar DID NOT want her to go on The Real to promote her book, but Tamar said it wasn’t like that:

“When I was on the show, she never reached out to me and said she wanted to be on the show. Come to find out, she got upset because I didn’t post her last book but I don’t have to tell you Tigger, they don’t want you to tweet about or Instagram about certain things. That’s in your contract. Especially when you work for a corporation. You have to run certain things by them. They didn’t really dig it. I told her what they said. I guess she didn’t believe me or want to believe me.”

Despite this, Tamar extended an olive branch to Toya and her daughter Reginae:

“Toya if you’re listening, baby, I have absolutely positively no reason to stop you from getting your shine on. I want you to win. I love Reginae. I want everybody to win.”

In her interview Tamar also spoke on her upcoming new studio album and also revealed that she has a “couple” of chows airing on TV later this fall. Take a look at the full interview below:
