RuPaul, Taraji P Henson, Snoop Dogg & More to Receive Stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is getting a little more star power and it’s overdue for a lot of them. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that F. Gary Gray, Minnie Mouse, Zoe Saldana, Anthony Anderson, RuPaul and Taraji P. Henson are just a few of the handful of celebrities who will have their name in stars.

Ryan Murphy, Niecy Nash, Mandy Patinkin, Shonda Rhimes, Mary J. Blige, Ice T, Snoop Dogg, Carrie Underwood, “Weird Al” Yankovic and posthumously Bernie Mac will also be inductees this year.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame so far comprises of more than 2,600 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others.

Jack Black, Kirsten Dunst, Jeff Goldblum, F. Gary Gray, Mark Hamill, Jennifer Lawrence, Gina Lollobrigida, Minnie Mouse, Nick Nolte and Zoe Saldana

Anthony Anderson, Gillian Anderson, Lynda Carter, Simon Cowell, RuPaul Charles, Taraji P. Henson, Eric McCormack, Ryan Murphy, Niecy Nash, Mandy Patinkin, Shonda Rhimes and posthumously Steve Irwin.

Mary J. Blige, Sir Richard Branson, Petula Clark, Harry Connick Jr., Ice T, Snoop Dogg, Carrie Underwood and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
