Looks like Rita Ora‘s stint as the host of America’s Next Top Model has come to an end. It has been confirmed that co-creator and executive producer Tyra Banks will be returning as the show’s host and main judge! In a statement, the fashion icon and business woman stated:

“I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart. After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA.”

What’s not confirmed however is the rest of the panel, who will be revealed at a later date. Yes, this means that Ashley Graham, Drew Elliott and Law Roach have also been fired.

America’s Next Top Model originally ran from 2003 to 2015 for 22 cycles (seasons) after being cancelled by The CW.

A year after ending, VH1 re-launched the series and Tyra decided to stay behind the scenes, choosing Rita Ora as the host and main judge for Cycle 23. 20-year-old model India Gants served as the winner of the comeback season.

What’s very funny to me is that Rita Ora is a pretty girl. I’ve always stated that modeling is what she should do and she went for it, even landing the hot seat of ANTM, only for Tyra to snatch it from under her instantly. It just seems like the poor girl will never actually find her niche and for that I feel bad for her.

I must admit though, it’s very entertaining to watch. Welcome back Tyra!!!!
