Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma‘s beef officially kicked off earlier this year when Remy released SHether after a handful of subliminal bars from Nicki Minaj. The title comes from the legendary diss track from Nas to Jay Z called Ether and found Remy going hard for 6 minutes straight:

“I told you I wasn’t talking about your dumb ass / It look stupid, you literally got a dumb ass…Let’s be honest, you stole that line about bitches being your sons / How you take my ’09 jail tweet and run / Talking about, bringing knives to a fight with guns / When the only shot you ever took was in your buns.”

After delaying her response by speaking about how popular she is, Nicki officially responded on No Frauds:

“You can’t be Pablo if your work ain’t sellin’ / What the fuck is this bitch inhalin’? Tried to drop another one, you was itchin’ to scrap / You exposed your ghostwriter / Now you wish it was scrapped / Heard your pussy on yuck / I guess you needed a Pap.”

Things then began to slow down until a few days ago when Nicki dissed Remy yet again on 2 Chainz‘s Realize, where she claimed that Papoose wrote Remy’s SHether diss. Remy then responded with a freestyle over Future‘s Mask Off:

“Murder next/ Who I’m murder next?/ Maybe her, nah she ain’t worth it yet/ I burned you/ Your new name is Bernadette.

Pulled up riding in the range/ You know you winning when your enemies is gang/ Fake models hoes getting cute/ Don’t hang yourself trying be up in the loop.”

Now things have officially kicked into overload. Remy Ma is one of the many artists appearing at Hot 97’s Summer Jam Festival and during her set, she brought out Cardi B, Young M.A. along with legends Queen Latifah, Lady of Rage and Lil Kim on stage to show some unity between female emcees:

Then things took a turn when Remy performed shETHER…:

She even put an obituary of Nicki on the screen:
