Rapper Mystikal Turns Himself in Following First Degree Rape Allegations
New Orleans-based rapper Mystikal has turned himself in after a report surfaced over the weekend stating that the rapper was wanted in connection to an alleged sexual assault that took place October 22, 2016.
Another man, Averweone Holman, has also been apprehended and charged in connection with the same incident, according to the report. Both men have bonds set at $2 million each.
Mystikal pleaded guilty to sexual battery and extortion charges in 2003, and served in prison until January 2010. He also pleaded guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to file tax returns on a total of $1.7 million he earned in 1998 and 1999.
