Rapper Kodak Black’s Year Prison Sentence Gets Cut In Half & Calls His Arrest a Blessing in Disguise

Kodak Black’s a 20 year old rapper who seems to have spent so much of his adult life in prison it’s hard to figure out when he had time to even make music, much less major hits. Well yesterday his prayers were answered when news came in that his year long prison sentence for gun and marijuana charges (cut down from a slew of other charges) was cut in half. He wrote a thankful message to the big man upstairs appreciative of his shortened sentence on Instagram saying “I want to thank the lord for this blessing in disguise which was sending me back to jail January 18 2018,” Kodak wrote, referencing his January arrest. “Second I want to thank the lord again for using my advocate Bradford Cohen ( @lawronin ) as an instrument to speak through him and work diligently on my behalf.”

This is quite a 180 for the South Florida rapper because just over two weeks ago he had been moved into protective custody in prison where he was going off about how much of a “real G” he was, “from the projects” and how he could take care of himself in the general population cursing and all. Okay, Kodak. Well now your sentence has been cut so if I were you I’d keep it quiet over the next few months til you get out in October, k? And lastly, once you get home, don’t sit online Facebook Live’ing yourself on camera waving guns around your kids and then you won’t have to worry about going back to the slammer.

Glitzers, do you think Jailbird Black’s going to be able to stay out of prison this time around?
