Pharrell Williams & August Alsina Win Big At BET Awards + Full List Of Winners

The 2014 BET Awards just ended moments ago and Pharrell Williams and August Alsina served as the biggest winners of the night, with each artist earning a total of two awards between them: Pharrell for Video of the Year (Happy) and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and August for Best New Artist and Coca Cola’s Viewer’s Choice Award.

Jhene Aiko and John Legend performed her breakout song the worst togther, and though John didnt take home anything tonight, Jhene did earn the Centric Award, and I am glad!  Also winning big were Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, who also took home two awards each. 26 year-old Teonny Spears, is from a small town in Louisiana called Ferriday, where he currently lives. A fan of Pop music, Teonny began writing at a small age and in 2005, he began blogging for fun on Myspace about his favorite artists.

After building a love for entertainment news, he began working for Defglam.com, and launched his own weekly show in 2009 called EnterSHADEment Talk for 8 seasons and over 200 episodes before ending the show in 2012. He shortly left Defglam in the same year.
