Beyonce started something when she stared something when she did her surprised iTunes album release without an ounce of promotion. A trend spawned from the release of her 2013 self-titled album, Beyonce. Capitalizing on this, Nicki Minaj went on Twitter Saturday night (October 8th) saying she had a new album coming out that night. She said it was a fruit based project with tracks all named after fruits. She kept it up for a few hours before finally admitting it was all a prank in a tweet saying “*kisses u* love u back. All of u. Love you sooooooo fkn much. I been cryin laughin this whole time, btw… Good stuff #PickMyFruitOut.”

We understand that she’s been busy defending her man Meek Mill’s manhood since he’s been getting dissed by every relevant rapper in the industry because he keeps starting beefs and losing them. Fans have been getting impatient tweeting her their outrage. We just hope she drops something soon. You’re only as good as your last hit and her last one’s starting to get old.

And Nicki, if you’re reading this, we aren’t laughing.
