The visual included past songs such as Dirty Diana, Blood On The Dancefloor and Ghosts, all which have been associated with Halloween, one of Michael’s favorite holiday’s.
While there are currently little details surrounding the record, John Branca, who is co-executor of Michael’s estate revealed that some new legacy projects would be coming soon:
“I don’t foresee us releasing any more unreleased music for quite some time. That doesn’t mean there won’t be interesting [new] record releases in the very near future.”
John made his statement on Monday, September 4, after a 3-D version of the 1983 game-changing Thriller short directed by John Landis world-premiered at the Venice Film Festival:
“Now we have ‘Thriller’ 3-D, and two more announcements are coming up in the next couple of weeks. Michael had an expression: ‘The quality goes in before the name goes on.’ So we are not ready to announce them yet.”
While exact details are currently limited, the project is expected to be released on September 29.
