Mona Scott-Young, the woman behind one of the most loved and successful TV franchises, Love & Hip Hop, sat down for an exclusive interview with where she spoke about Keyshia Cole‘s highly anticipated debut on the fourth season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

She also confirmed that Love & Hip Hop: Miami is in the works, as well as a few other cities such as Houston and New Orleans.

Houston has been rumored to kick off for the past 2 years but due to problems among the cast it was scrapped.

Last year it falsely stated that New Orleans was already filming with Mystikal and social media personalities TokyoxVanity and Supa Cent.

Though there is currently no premiere date, Love & Hip Hop: Miami will feature Lil Scrappy and his ex-girlfriend Erica Dixon, Plies, Trick Daddy and Trina. Take a look at what Mona had to say below:

ON KEYSHIA COLE JOINING LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD: “You know Keyshia always has great stories to tell. I think that’s what people loved when she had her own show. They love it through her storytelling and her music so we just wanted to give her an opportunity to kind of have another platform to do that.”

ON GETTING KEYSHIA TO CHANGE HER MIND: “Was it hard? You know what, at first she said no for a very long time and then we spent a little bit of time together and I think she realized that, I think she has a story to tell and she wants to be able to tell it and this was a platform to do that. Yeah! So we are excited to have her.”

ON THE LOVE & HIP HOP FRANCHISE VENTURING TO OTHER CITIES: “Houston I love. We wanted to do Houston and we went into Houston to cast and we may go back to Houston but I think it’s pretty common knowledge that we’re doing Miami. Yes! So Miami is coming up but yeah I would love to do Houston. Houston is one of my favorite cities that and New Orleans. Yes!”
