Migos ‘Bad And Boujee’ Shoots To #1 On Billboard Hot 100 Chart
If you ever doubted the power of social media, it’s time that you stop. Social media is such a driving force these days, that Billboard even used it to help rank the popular songs on their weekly Hot 100 chart, and trap Atlanta-based group Migos have a great reason to celebrate.
Billboard has just revealed that Migos and Lil Uzi Vert’s Bad and Boujee has reached the #1 position on the Hot 100 this week, which was driven in part by viral online buzz.
Along with is numerous memes and tweets playing off the song’s “raindrop, drop top” lyrics, it was the Golden Globes last night that really fueled it. Atlanta won for best TV Series for Drama and during his acceptance speech, Donald Glover shouted out the group and their song, and Twitter was LIT.

Though not his first hit, it is Lil Uzi’s highest charting single so far following You Was Right, which peaked at #40.
Released on October 28, Bad and Boujee serves as the lead single from Migos’ upcoming second studio album Culture, which is set to be released on January 27.
