In December of 2016, a Meek Mill concert in Connecticut ended in gunfire with to killed, 31 year old Travis Ward and 20 year old Jaquan Graves. The event was so rare that neighbors assumed it was fireworks. It’s this evidence of the the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut being a safe place before Meek Mill came around that the families of the two victims have filed lawsuits against Meek and the theater, both citing insufficient security as the cause of their loved ones’ death, as well as the fact his lyrics incite violence. Shootings at two other concerts were also mentioned, citing there is a trend of this following him around.

The amount of damages sought were not disclosed, however Meek hasn’t exactly been mature throughout the situation as the next morning after the shooting occurred, he accused the news media of lying on social media in a video, before taking it down. No statement from him, Live Nation or the theater have been given. From house arrest, to losing rap beefs, his girl Nicki Minaj and this, at this point, we’re not sure when this season of L’s for Meek Mill are going to end.
