Earlier this week, Mary J. Blige shared the cover art and release date for her upcoming 13th studio album, Strength of a Woman. Set to be released on April 28, the album will serve as her second album with her new label Capitol Records.

The album is set to feature appearances and production from Hit-Boy, DJ Camper, Jazmine Sullivan, and Kanye West – just to name a few, and as a treat to fans, Mary has decided to release her Kanye collaboration titled Love Yourself. A soulful mid-tempo track, the song speaks on loving yourself for who you are:

“You gotta love yourself if you really wanna be with someone else. You gotta feed yourself before you feed somebody else / You gotta stay open and don’t be foolish / ‘Cause everybody don’t mean you well.”

Mary also opened up about her divorce and new album during an interview with Power 105, where she told Angie Martinez:

“I give way too much. It’s like, ‘Just take everything.’ But I’ll never do that again. I’ll never give that much ever again. I’m sorry…He fucked it up for everybody.”

She added:

“You’re disrespecting me and I know, I can sense that I’m not what you want anymore…You start to realize that this man doesn’t want you and he’s just gone all the time. You’re by yourself in the relationship, when you realize you’re by yourself in the relationship and you’re just suffering through it, now it’s time to do some investigating…a little bit…and I was getting things here and there but I didn’t have no full proof. When I got the proof, I didn’t have to investigate it, it just showed up. It just was revealed. Bam! This is what he’s doing. I even gave him a warning.”
