LISTEN: Maroon 5 Returns With Kendrick Lamar Assisted New Single ‘Don’t Wanna Know’

It has been 2 years since pop rock music band Maroon 5 released their fifth studio album, V, now it seems that the band is gearing up for their sixth studio album, and to help them kick things off, they decided to tap rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Titled Don’t Wanna Know, the song serves as the upcoming album’s official lead single. Produced by Benny Blanco, the tune was released just before midnight across all digital retailers and streaming services and was immediately serviced to radio.


The official music video, which was directed by David Dobkin, will premiere on The Today Show, this Friday (October 14), and will be released to the public later that day.

The first television performance of the song will be on the November 3 episode of Ellen. Take a listen to the song below:

After a three-year run, Teonny left the publication to pursue new interests, and now resides at, as the Editor-in-Chief, where he specializes in Pop Music, though he also dabbles in Fashion, TV/Film, Rap & introducing readers to new and rising talent.

Teonny is also part of a collective called The Bloginati, a Multifaceted group with people who touch on several forms of media.
