Lindsay Lohan Supports Trump Saying “If You Can’t Beat Him, Join Him”

In an interesting turn of events, following her 20’s being quite rocky and not so kind to her, Lindsay Lohan seems to have reached a moment of clarity with recently elected President Donald Trump. At a time where global protests over his sheer existence in the White House and even his predecessor Barack Obama moving a mile away in Kalorama to set up shop and be the chief opposition training others to become “organizers” against Trump, her take on his presidency is a little less abrasive.

In a video interview last week with the Daily Mail, LaLohan said “You have to join him. If you canโ€™t beat him, join him.โ€ She said she thinks โ€œit would be a positive thing for America to show their care and support.โ€

Messenger aside, when losing an election, there are plenty things one can do to see their political goals achieved that do not involve protest, violence or destruction. The party out of party, the Democrats suffered a huge defeat in the White House as well as Congress and local legislatures. How about work on getting those people elected and finding a way to make the President’s agenda work to your benefit? Craft your message and how you will win during the next set of elections. That sounds a lot more productive than hanging in the streets with signs, doesn’t it? And lastly, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Obviously, the man beat you; why not try to use some of his tactics to win next time? If you can’t beat him, join him, just as she said.
