Kathy Griffin Gets Fired from CNN for Dead Trump Joke

Kathy Griffin shared a video of herself this week online with a bloody, severed mannequin head of a President Donald Trump. While filming she told the photographer to call his family because he might not live after this and could possibly go to prison. The stunt may not have landed her in prison, or at least just not yet, she did however lose her job at CNN. For a number of years now she’s co-hosted CNN’s their New Year’s Eve show and is actually pretty funny. This publicity stunt, however, was anything but.

It isn’t that Kathy’s a stranger to controversy. Ten years ago in 2007, during her acceptance speech at the Primetime Emmy’s she said, “Suck it Jesus, this award is my God now,” among other things. Kathy Griffin is someone who started her career on top on Suddenly Susan and not only couldn’t get back on network television after but made a career out of being a D Lister, beating down the door of Hollywood. The irony is that with her show “Kathy Griffin: My Life On the D List,” it actually propelled her back into the A List proving she’ a fighter. To know Kathy is to know that she will do anything for publicity. She says so herself all the time, so this should come as no surprise to any of her followers. This time she just jumped the shark. The unfortunate part is to see her torpedo her career with what will likely be a career defining unfunny, disgusting joke.

Glitzers, look at the photo that got Kathy Griffin fired below and tell us if you think it was fair or not.
