K-POPNATION: Spica Goes Retro R&B On ‘Secret Time’ Comeback

I want the best for Spica. They are incredibly talented singers and performers. Yet, they remain relatively unknown. Starting off as Sweetune (Kara, 9Muses, Infinite) darlings for a few early comebacks, they have faded to the background since then. Even KPop Queen Lee Hyori tried to mentor them on a previous comeback but they could not crack the top spot in KPop.

Their latest comeback Secret Time is a retro R&B dance track. The girls layer their powerful voices over the groove fiercely. They never disappoint to give an amazing vocal performance. The visuals are adequate but nothing really special. I think that’s the one factor that still needs more work. Take a look at the video below:
