Ja Rule’s Hot at 42 in New Birthday Pics + Protests NYC Public Housing

Ja Rule might be the enemy of the #Wypipo community for his Fyre Festival antics trapping wealthy concertgoers on an island with wild animals in tents eating bread and cheese, but the one thing he’s still got going for him is at 42 he looks damn good. He posted pics on his birthday on the 29th of February shirtless and in better shape than those well over 10 years younger than him. At 5’6 he probably couldn’t kick 50 Cent’s ass but he could give him a run for his money in the looks department, we’d say. In a recent concert he did with Ashanti covering old hits of theirs made famous nearly 2 decades ago and both are still in hot competition with their contemporaries at least as far as their bodies are concerned.

He’s also turned into an activist as of late leading a protest against the New York Housing Authority for a large number of their properties being in disrepair. There have been reports of tenants going without heat and hot water for weeks at a time and the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., is now calling on Governor Cuomo to get involved. While some might not see this as a major effort on Ja Rule’s behalf, we at least give him credit for drawing attention to the issue and honestly if the city has no genuine plans of correcting these issues, vouchers should be issued for NYCHA tenants to live elsewhere instead of leaving them in substandard conditions.

Glitzers, check out Ja Rule’s 42nd birthday pics below:
