It’s been 15 years since Friday After Next was released, and fans have since hoped for a new installment of the hit film. For the past 3 years or so, rumors have circulated that the film, titled Last Friday, would be released really soon with stars Mike Epps and John Witherspoon both teasing fans.

Now fans no longer have to speculate if a fourth film is coming because writer and star Ice Cube just confirmed the allegations!

Ice Cube was one of the guests on The Late Late Show with host James Corden where he finally revealed that a new Friday film was coming. It all started  after Jason Derulo expressed how much he loved the film series:

“Friday was one of my favorite movies of all time. Literally I would watch it every single Friday, it was that serious.”

Ice Cube then responded:

“We’re working on one right now. We’re gonna call it Last Friday.”

There was a wave of fake movie posters advertising a Last Friday movie with Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson, Jr. and Young DC Fly being the new Craig and Smokey.
