#FakeNews: CNN Thought Faith Evans was Faith Hill Today

By JaVonni Brustow / Published on Friday, 03 Feb 2017 19:23 PM / No Comments

CNN today tweeted that singer Faith Hill was releasing an album of duets with rapper Notorious B.I.G. 20 years after his death. Just imagine, 49 year old country singer Faith Hill who was singing with Vince Gill when Biggie passed is set to do a duet album with him… In case you haven’t detected the sarcasm, it’s because they mixed up Faith Hill with his actual wife at the time, Faith Evans. The appalling part about it is that they left the tweet up of the mistake.

It’s almost as if they want the controversy. Remember when Yahoo Finance posted about Donald Trump wanting a “nigger navy?” Half the internet found it hilarious while the rest caught in an awkward purgatory, waiting for it all to end. The things digital media companies will do for attention, playing with facts as if it is all fun and games is amazing. It turns out Donald Trump was right about CNN when he called them out because confusing a middle aged white country music artist with a fair skin black R&B artist is #FakeNews!

This is Faith Evans..

Glitzers, check out the internet rebuke of CNN for their confusion of Faith Evans and Faith Hill earlier:
