Drake is officially back. The rapper and singer surprised fans Friday night by releasing a new EP called Scary Hours, featuring 2 tracks. The songs mark Drizzy‘s first new music since his More Life playlist from March 2017.

God’s Plan is a feel good track that discusses Drake’s future. Being who he is in the industry he knows that people want him to fail, however God won’t let him do that. The song may become an instant fan favorite due to it’s line: “She say do you love me? / Tell her only partly / I only love my bed and my momma / I’m sorry”

Diplomatic Immunity, however, is a hard hitting track where Drake lists off the different things his immunity as a global artist provides him. He confirmed the rumors about him dating Jennifer Lopez and losing her:

“Waking up at 6 pm like, “Where does the day go?” /Forecasting tornados/ Brainstorming retaliation at dinner tables/ 2010 was when I lost my halo/ 2017 I lost a J. Lo”

And he even take shots at Joe Budden, who has taken many many shots at Drake in the past:

“Shit is complex like short niggas around tall ladies/ I gotta watch who I’m talking to like it’s all ages/ I’ve seen budding careers turn to sit around and talk about other careers, judging their peers/ Knowledge from niggas who did not contribute to none of this here”

Though it’s only 2 songs, fans can expect more as Drake is rumored to be releasing a new album sometime this year! Take a listen to the songs below:
