CLICK FLASH: Rihanna Covers Paper Magazine’s ‘Break the Rules’ Issue

Pop star and fashion icon Rihanna covers the March 2017 issue of Paper magazine, which serves as their Break The Rules issue. For a celebrity like Rihanna, the cover is fitting as Badgalriri always manages to do the opposite and move to the beat of her own drum.

Inside the issue Rihanna poses as a “high fashion clerk in a bodega of the future” where she rocks spiked hair and a bright-colored fur coat on the cover page, while rocking lavender hair, big earrings and looking effortlessly stunning. Take a look at what stylist Shannon Stokes had to say about Rihanna’s shoot with photographer Sebastian Faena:

“We thought it would be interesting to put a superstar like Rih in such an everyday surrounding. And Farren added the ‘future’ angle to give it a twist, so it became a challenge to envision what a girl who worked there might look like.”

Paper magazine’s March 2017 issue will hit newsstands on March 6, but you can take a glimpse of Rihanna’s colorful and futuristic photoshoot below:

26 year-old Teonny Spears, is from a small town in Louisiana called Ferriday, where he currently lives. A fan of Pop music, Teonny began writing at a small age because he simply didn't like getting dirty as a child, and preferred to stay inside.

His earlier writings consisted of short stories and poetry, and in 2005, he began blogging for fun on Myspace about his favorite artists. In 2012, Teonny became the Pop Culture Expert for Sinuous Magazine, an online publication dedicated to providing a multicultural exploration of art, entertainment, fashion and social issues through a mix of news and thought pieces. After a three-year run, Teonny left the publication to pursue new interests, and now resides at, as the Editor-in-Chief, where he specializes in Pop Music, though he also dabbles in Fashion, TV/Film, Rap & introducing readers to new and rising talent.

Teonny is also part of a collective called The Bloginati, a Multifaceted group with people who touch on several forms of media.
