Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled & Big Sean Added to BET Awards Performance Lineup

The 2017 BET Awards were already dripping with sauce and now it just got more savory. It has just been confirmed that Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled and Big Sean have been added to the superstar performance lineup.

Newcomer rapper Post Malone and singers Roman GianArthur and Jessie Reyez have also been added to the lineup, which already consists of Bruno Mars, Future, Migos, Trey Songz, and Tamar Braxton – just to name a few.

Last week it was revealed that New Edition will take the stage for a celebration of their Lifetime Achievement Award, while Chance the Rapper will be honored with this year’s Humanitarian Award.

The 2017 BET Awards will air live Sunday, June 25 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET and will be hosted by comedian and actress Leslie Jones. Beyonce leads this year’s list of nominees with a total of seven nods including R&B/Pop Artist and Album of The Year for LEMONADE, while Bruno Mars comes in second place with with five nods including Video of the Year. Solange, Migos and Chance the Rapper are also scored multiple nominations.

26 year-old Teonny Spears, is from a small town in Louisiana called Ferriday, where he currently lives. A fan of Pop music, Teonny began writing at a small age because he simply didn't like getting dirty as a child, and preferred to stay inside.

His earlier writings consisted of short stories and poetry, and in 2005, he began blogging for fun on Myspace about his favorite artists. In 2012, Teonny became the Pop Culture Expert for Sinuous Magazine, an online publication dedicated to providing a multicultural exploration of art, entertainment, fashion and social issues through a mix of news and thought pieces. After a three-year run, Teonny left the publication to pursue new interests, and now resides at PopGlitz.com, as the Editor-in-Chief, where he specializes in Pop Music, though he also dabbles in Fashion, TV/Film, Rap & introducing readers to new and rising talent.

Teonny is also part of a collective called The Bloginati, a Multifaceted group with people who touch on several forms of media.
