Chance the Rapper to Star in Pizza Delivery Horror Flick ‘Slice’

Chance the Rapper is making his big screen debut in a new horror flick guaranteed to scare every pizza delivery guy out there sh*tless. His character Dax Lycander is described as a disgraced “werewolf who is a former Chinese food delivery driver,” so that shoud tell you all you need to know about what type of film this is going to be. The film is about a killing spree of pizza delivery guys. It sounds kind of unfortunate. #RedLivesMatter, maybe? Ironically this isn’t Chance’s first time acting out this type of role as he was in a pizza delivery skit on SNL last November where he was in a sleeveless shirt and short shorts sporting a 70’s porn moustache. You have to admit, the idea of Chance showing up at the door with a pizza’s kind of hot.

The film was originally spoken about by Chance back in 2015 with a tentative 2017 release. Thankfully it survived the delay and in a tweet he posted Monday, he announced it’ll be out next Monday, the 10th. There’s only one caveat, and that is that it has a one day release. Cities the film will be appearing in will be Austin, Texas; Atlanta; Boston; Brooklyn; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Los Angeles; Miami Beach; Milwaukee; Nashville, Tennessee; Philadelphia; Portland, Oregon; Raleigh, North Carolina; San Francisco; Seattle; St. Louis; and Washington, D.C. The film’s website says Chance will be participating in a live Q&A simulcast after the film as well. Don’t forget the film is only going to be out for one day so if you want to support Chance, make sure you clear your calendars for next Monday.
