In September 2017 shortly after the filming of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood‘s 4th season reunion, rumors started circulating stating that breakout cast-member Zell Swag, had been fired and would NOT be returning for season 5 and while he denied the rumors at first, he has since come clean.

Zell revealed to theJasmineBRAND that he indeed WILL NOT be returning for a second season:

“It is a 100% true. I definitely will not be on Love & Hip Hop this season, but you will see me on another show here soon. I can’t say too much.”

Things got heated as Zell Swag apparently tried to make up with Misster Ray (or pretended to all along) and even went over to apologize to him.

Instead of hugging it out however, Zell sneak punched him a few times and even drew blood. Zell was instantly escorted off the stage and did not return to the rest of the filming, but after support from his cast mates, Ray resumed filming.

Though it wasn’t the main reason he was asked not to return, it played a major part in it:

“I think the Ray situation played a part in not being on this season. I can say I made the mistake and it caused me to lose my job.”

The new show that he has joined will focus moreo n his personal life and his music:

“I can’t say much as things are still in the works, but I can say the cast is a known assembled cast, on a known network, this show has already been running w/ several franchises so it’s not a new thing.

I’m going to be the first of “my kind” on the show so I’m excited to bring that light to the show. You guys will get to see more of my work side, who I’m dating, a little drama just a lot more of Zell. A few of my best friends are on the show so it’s going good. That’s all I can give you right now.”

Are you glad to see Zell go or do you feel that be spiced things up quite a bit?
