Migos are officially moving on up. After reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 Albums charts, the independent trio from Atlanta have officially joined a record label.

Rap-Up reports that Migos have signed a joint record deal with Motown & Capital Records, due to Quality Control’s joint venture with Capitol Music Group. Quality Control’s CEO, Pierre Thomas stated:

“This is a very exciting time for QC and Migos. We have been independently building our brand, and though our partnership with Motown/Capitol they have shown us that this is the right home to take our business to a global platform.”

Motown President Ethiopia Habtemariam added:

“The members of Migos are true artists who are representing and driving youth culture as they break boundaries with their music. Less than two years ago, we began our relationship with QC because we believed in them and were aligned in a mission and purpose to propel our culture to a global market — and we are doing just that.”

Migos will join rappers Future and Kodak Black as well as rapper and singer Tory Lanez on tour later this year.
