‘AHS’ Renewed For 2 More Seasons + Sarah Paulson & Evan Peters Confirmed For Season 7

Great news American Horror Story fans. I am pleased to announce that a few details about the upcoming 7th season of the show have been revealed, starting with Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters being the first of the cast confirmed to return.

While speaking to reporters at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Pasadena, California after a panel for the upcoming limited series Feud, executive producer Ryan Murphy also revealed that the new season will take place in modern times, but the theme will be a mystery once more:

“There are only three people in the world who know what [the new season is about]. And that’s FX CEO John Landgraf, [studio executive] Dana Walden, and Sarah Paulson. I don’t know [if we’ll keep it quiet]. Last year was successful. I don’t know if we’ll do it again. I think maybe we’ll release some of it earlier than we did. But I just started writing it, I haven’t even cast it yet — except for Sarah and Evan. It’s a modern-day story. That’s all I can say.”

It was also announced that the series has been renewed for two more seasons, meaning that it will run through 2019, making it FX’s longest-running dramatic series.
