Ace Hood Brings Us ‘Taxicab Confessions for the Trap’ in New ‘Uber’ Track

Florida rapper Ace Hood is back after his 2017 mixtape Trust the Process, his public acknowledgment of leaving from under DJ Khaled’s arm and that fans as well as his former management needed to trust how he was handling his career. For those wondering why, his last album was 2013’s Trials and Tribulations so he has more than enough reason to be frustrated with his career.

His latest is the “taxicab confessions for the trap” track Uber where he capitalizes off of the ride share boom and talks about his wild times in the back of a car.

“The concept behind the record is that all types of things in life can be experienced in a Uber,” Ace told Complex in a statement. “Good times, bad times, secrets… everything. Think taxi cab confessions for the trap. You feel me? It’s a fun, light-hearted record but still hard at its core. That’s what I represent. It’s an experience.” If you like the track and want to hear more, it’ll be on his next as yet titled album out this March.

Here’s to hoping for continued success in Ace Hood’s career and that this track helps catapult his career again.
